DOCUMENTATION WRITING SPECIALIST
COMPANY OVERVIEW
The NHHEAF Network Organizations are comprised of three active 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies - New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF), Granite State Management & Resources (GSM&R) and New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation (NHHELCO) which provide outstanding college access programs for New Hampshire students, families and schools. GSM&R, through NHHELCO, was awarded a contract for the servicing of federal student loans owned by the U.S. Department of Education in April 2012. The contract leverages GSM&R''s operating infrastructure and its unwavering commitment to support borrowers toward successful student loan repayment.
JOB FUNCTION
Review, analyze and document business procedures.Maintain documentation in accordance with regulations, requirement changes, business practice updates and audit controls.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, modify, add, or archive documents as a result of regulatory updates, government change requests, business practice changes, etc.
Prepare Procedural Change Memo documentation and update business unit processes and supporting documentation as needed based on updates from various sources.
Maintain audit control references within the business procedures.
Communicate availability of updated documentation materials to department staff.
Develop and maintain scripts to be used by Call Center Representatives.
Monitor, review and coordinate all department resources tools to ensure that all contents are accurate and current.
Coordinate documentation for all new clients as directed.
When appropriate, participate in the review of new loan types and business opportunities to ensure that all documentation is accurate and available.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services related to all loan programs serviced by the company.
REQUISITE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree in Business, English or Communications preferred and 1 to 3 years relevant experience in the areas of documentation management, loan processing, business writing or communications utilizing on-line and web-based tools.
