Job Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting in various medical procedures. This position requires experience working with children and the ability to administer injections.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene
- Assist physicians and registered nurses in medical procedures such as suturing and sonography
- Document patient information, including medical history and treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in NH
- Experience working with children in a pediatric setting
- Proficient in administering injections and performing basic medical procedures
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in emergency situations, such as the ER
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
