We are looking for an individual with 2-4 years of experience and the ability to apply their skills to our technology.
Responsibilities include coding development of insurance business systems related to data warehouse, data marts, and reporting.
Analysis, design, coding development, testing, and implementation involved with the system development life cycle.
In addition, maintenance and support for problem resolution of these production systems, as assigned.
These are the necessary skills required for this position:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008: Experience maintaining database applications, ability to write and understand T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio
General database concepts and design to include data modeling
Experience writing SSIS packages for data export and import
SQL jobs and SQL mail for automated processing
SQL scripts to deploy database system changes to environments
Source code control system for check-in and check-out
Skills a plus:
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
SQL Server Analytical Services (SSAS)
Business intelligence experience for data analysis and reporting
SQL partitioning
Team Foundation Server
Associates or BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent experience required. 2-4 years of development experience required. Property and Casualty Insurance or Financial services knowledge preferred.
